Hi my name is Lindsey, and I am a NARSissist.

When it comes to lips, nails, highlighting & eyes - NARS is where it's at! I can always count on them in the color & quality department. I have been hankering for all of these NARS products above as of late. Allow me to go one by one.

There is obviously no need to explain the nail polish. The storm bird & night flight are fabulous colors for fall/winter, period. Their new eye shadow palette, new wave, is so unbelievably vibrant. Just looking at this mix of colors gets me all hot & bothered. For real. Have you tried any of their multiple sticks? They are great for shimmering, contouring & highlighting. You can pretty much use it anywhere. I have been using the shade "luxor" for a while now, but I am ready to change it up and go for "undress me." Such a cute shade! As far as lips go, vampy lips are so in for fall. Not only is rouge tribal lip gloss & vendanges lipstick the perfect lip combination, but they are even more perfect worn separately. And now for the kabuki brush. Honestly, I really just love the word kabuki. It makes me really happy. But on a serious note, I have been dying for one of great quality & this one is it. Plus, it's really cute!

Foxy Fall

Looks like things are getting  "foxy" this fall. That's right kiddos, the "fox" is this fall's animal trend. Not an animal I would typically go for, but I must admit - they are pretty damn cute! 

And for the record, Tory Burch is one foxy bitch! No really, she is killing it this fall with the fox trend. And of course we can't forget good ol' Burberry. They've jumped on the fox wagon as well. Although their stuff is very foxy, it's also extremely expensive. Wahh wahh.....

 An embellished moto boot for fall is a must! Scratch that... Embellished ANYTHING is a must! I am totally head over heels for the Sam Edelman Adele Boots. I saw these babies at Nordstrom a couple of weeks ago & they have been on my mind ever since. When wearing moto boots, I love softening up my look with either a floral dress or top. It's a fun way to tone down the severity of the boot! But you really can wear them with just about anything. Bottom line, embellished motto boots are fab & you can absolutely pull them off at any budget!

The Look For Less: Leather Leggings

I have no words, but "WOW!"

 I was in Zara yesterday & saw these gorgeous leather leggings, soft as butter! I was ready to grab a pair to try on & then I saw it...  The $399 [so not typical Zara] price tag! And so typical that I pick out the most expensive thing in the whole damn store. I obviously resisted & kept walking [sulking]. But then something magical happened! As I made my way to the next section I found an almost identical pair of [not so leather] leather leggings for $79.99!!! I could hardly control my excitement. And then the most exciting thing of all happened... I BOUGHT THEM!

Leather pants and/or leggings are a definite fall staple. And for a pair of [not so leather] leather leggings, almost identical to the $399 real leather pair, for only $79.99, you can't possibly go wrong!

Fall 2012 Trend: Rich Burgundy Nails

The one thing that sucks about living with your significant other is not being able to decorate the way you want. My husband has, what I like to call, a sports fetish. [If you ask him, it's called life]. I swear, if you walked into my apartment you would never know I live there. [Don't worry, I've at least marked my territory in the bedroom]. No joke, we live in a New York Yankees museum - and we have an old Yankee stadium seat in my living room to prove it. I have made it crystal clear that this will not be the case when we have a house. There will be a designated room, a man cave if you will, where he will be free to do whatever the hell his little heart desires. But until then, it looks like I will be watching TV in our living room with Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter & the rest of the gang, while creating home/interior inspiration collages [below] & playing on Pinterest. Le sigh!

LF is currently having their highly anticipated seasonal sale, so I obviously had to take my highly anxiety-ridden seasonal visit. I don't think there are words to accurately express the anxiety LF stores give me. I swear, LF looks like it came straight out of an episode of Hoarding: Buried Alive. Sans sale, there is still crappola scattered throughout the store as if someone has left their dirty laundry laying around for months with no intention of ever picking up after themselves or cleaning the clothes. It's too bad they actually have cute stuff & a killer sale! 

This past weekend, while I was home visiting my parents in Florida, I decided to give the LF on Las Olas a go. Although the store still looked like Jabba the Hut vomitted clothes everywhere, I will say this - The sale at this store was way more civilized than in NYC. Oh & I got these adorable chunky monkeys above! I am so beyond excited to wear the shit out of them this fall! 

These Matiko Amazee chunky platforms were originally $225. I purchased them for $90.

Today's Look: Find Of The Century

This, my friends, is what I like to call - the find of the century!
I found this chiffon high-low leopard print dress at Forever 21 for $24.80. Can you believe it? I am still in shock over it. I literally feel like I won the lottery or something. Please note: the best Forever21 finds are the finds that don't look like Forever21. And this is certainly one of my best finds! It's a total mix of MINKPINK & Blu Moon - two of my favorite lines. This dress came with a faux-leather belt, but I obviously switched it out for something a little more fun.

Fall Transition Pieces Under $100

With fall just around the corner [scary, I know], I find myself constantly thinking about transitioning my wardrobe. I have been on an endless hunt for pieces that are great for fall, could be worn year round & most importantly under $100! Today's Look

Yesterday I decided to venture off the beaten path to a little place called Lord & Taylor. A wonderful department store that I barely ever go to, but will certainly be going to way more often now. [Okay, let me clarify - I used to shop at Lord & Taylor all the time growing up.. I just never think to go there when shopping in the city. Shocking, I know!] First of all, they are having a killer sale & to top it off there is a coupon for additional reductions bringing the sale to 75% - 80% off! Secondly, I found the most awesome Julie Brown dress on sale & I am completely obsessed. I obviously had to share - hence this post!
