Caviar Wallet, Smoked Salmon Wallet, Tuna Fish Wallet: Expandable Satchel

Caviar Wallet: 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel $895
Smoked Salmon Wallet: Pour La Victoire Morandi Satchel $475
Tuna Fish Wallet:
Melie Bianco Studded Top Handle Satchel $118

An expandable satchel is an absolute must for fall! The shape is elegant & sophisticated, yet vivaciously sexy. What more could you ask for in a fall bag? I have been head-over-heels in love with the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel for what seems like forever. Thank goodness their are some less expensive options that are absolutely fabulous in their own right.

J.Crew Bauble Obsession

How fabulous is this J.Crew necklace combination. I am totally swooning over it! J.Crew has been totally hitting it out of the park with their jewelry. Okay, total understatement...  They've been hitting it out of the park with everything. It has become the ultimate one stop shop. Anyways, back to the necklaces. These are two of my favorite necklaces in their newest collection. They are both lovely on their own, but I am really digging them together. Quite the clever combo if you ask me!

2012 Emmy Awards: Citrus Face-Off

I don't know about you, but I was completely underwhelmed by this year's Emmy Awards red carpet.  I can honestly say there were only a handful of dresses I actually loved. And 4 out of 5 happen to be of the citrus persuasion. Go figure.

[From Left to Right] Claire Danes in Lanvin, Julianne Moore in Christian Dior Couture, Leslie Mann in Naeem Khan, Julie Bowen in Monique Lhullier

I truly loved every one of these looks. I especially loved the fact that each dress, although in the same color family, were completely different styles and silhouettes. And each style was fabulously represented.

Which lovely lady do you think looks the juiciest in their citrus hued gown?

And don't think I am not going to share my 5th favorite look of the evening.

Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen

How stunning did Kelly look in that stunning Zac Posen gown? Her body is banging, the dress fit like a glove & her hair, although controversial, completely worked!

Anywho... Back to the mater at hand - Citrus Hues.
Check out some of these fab juicy citrus dresses I found below!

NYFW SS13 Street Style: Miroslava Duma

Miroslava Duma, the super glam former Harper’s Bazaar Russia editor and current freelance writer, is my NYFW Spring 2013 street style crush!

And for obvious reasons... The girl is fierce!

Miroslava should definitely be on your permanent radar. She is the founder of Buro 24/7 - a killer Russian style website. Yea, it's written in Russian, but don't fret you can translate it in English through Google.
Check out her immaculate NYFW Spring 2013 fashions below.

To say I am obsessed with her is a bit of an understatement. Not only do I want to be best friends with her, but I kind of want to be her. Call me a creep... I don't care.

Miroslava Duma rocks my socks off!
And if she doesn't rock yours... Well then you have issues! [j/k]

Who are you crushing on in the street style department this NYFW?

Today's Look: Vibrant Monday

A quick little tip on how to avoid contracting a case of "the Mondays." Brighten up your look! It's as simple as that. One thing I have learned over the years is that your outfit is an expression of yourself & how you are feeling at the current moment. Lets face it, we all dread & avoid Mondays like the plague... I notice I typically get decked out in funeral wear [all black] when Monday comes around. Because, well, Monday's do feel like death. So why not tell a little fib to yourself and everyone around you... I don't care how bummed you are that the weekend is over... Brighten it up on Monday! I guarantee it will make you & everyone around you smile [at least for a second]!

Happy Monday Muffins!

Fashion's Night Out Recap

Well if you are reading this post, or my blog for that matter, you obviously know Fashion's Night Out was last night. And oh was it Fashion's Night Out... The city was absolutely bananas! Vacant cabs nowhere in site & fabulously dressed street walkers all through the night. The list of parties and special appearances were endless. It made it near impossible to meet up with all the people I planned to meet up with. But such is life.. And what a beautiful life it is!

This post is clearly titled "Fashion's Night Out Recap," so let me give you the play by play of my FNO evening.

Considering I do have a full time job, my whole "getting ready" glamorously took place at my office. Accompanied by my glam squad, Mr. Trash Can & Ms. Mailbox [see below]. Considering we don't have a full length mirror, which I find completely irritating, I typically resort to iPhone photos when getting ready for "after work" events.

After a good 30 minutes stuck underground on the subway [due to a police investigation], I met up with one of my closest friend [and contributing blogger] Jenn down in Tribeca at Matt Bernson's new store. If you haven't been there you should definitely check it out.. It's a pretty awesome spot & the layout is very unique! I loved it. I obviously don't need to tell you how fab the shoes are. That's common sense.

Below are some photos from Matt Bernson Tribeca for your enjoyment.

It was such a great event. Very low key & perfectly executed. There was full on shoe shopping going on upstairs. While downstairs, people were getting their hair braided [courtesy of Joico] & getting manis [courtesy of NailEZEE]. Shoes, hair braiding & mani's are quite the a-mazing combination if you ask me. And on top of it all, Matt Bernson was casually strolling around and mingling with the crowd. It was such a pleasure meeting Matt. He truly is a class act & has a great sense of humor.

We got our hair braided by the fabulous Joico's Braid Bar.

[Pretty sweet, eh?]

And then...

Wait for it...

THIS HAPPENED!

Yep, those are the new Zeppelin booties from the Dannijo x Matt Bernson collaboration. And yes, THEY'RE MINE!  ALL MINE!!!!

Could you die?!

I refuse to take them off my feet.

[I clearly did a wardrobe change in the cab uptown when we left.]

Our night continued on to midtown. Jenn & I were completely famished, so we decided to get out of Tribeca and eat dinner a bit closer to home. And in true FNO fashion, we got side tracked by Bergdorfs. How could we not go in? I mean, it is their 111th Birthday for christ sake!

[Top] J.Crew [Skirt] H&M similar
[Shoes] Dannijo x Matt Bernson [Necklace] Forever21

We did a once over... It was "eh." There were a couple of photo booths along with tarot card readings. Honestly, I was unimpressed. We wished Bergdorf a happy happy birthday & then went on our merry way to dinner at Rue 57.

[Their truffle fries are pretty outstanding.]

All in all the night was a complete success. Fun was had by all! Fashion's Night Out really is a fabulous event. It's so great seeing everyone's involvement. You just need to plan your night out beforehand. It's extremely easy to get carried away.

What did you all do for FNO? I'd love to hear all about it!

Also,
Also, a big thank you to both Cameo PR & Matt Bernson for a fabulous evening! You guys rock my socks! Or shall I say... "My Zeppelins!"
