Our Maternity Photos

 Jared & I never did a professional photo shoot when we got engaged. Shocking, I know! And to be honest, I still regret it to this day. So clearly a maternity photo shoot was a must for us. I mean, how could we not capture such a special time in our lives? While researching NYC photographers online, I stumbled across Forever Photography. Their website did not showcase any maternity photos, but I was immediately captivated by their unique vintage/rustic photography style. Forever Photography has two photographers, owners Jessica & Andrea, who shoot just about everything together because they like to get two sides of every story. I was clearly sold the moment I heard them say that. I love the idea of capturing special moments from different perspectives. 

We did our maternity shoot a few weekends ago - when I was 33 weeks - in few different NYC locations. We started on the High Line then made our way down to the Meat Packing District & West Village. We love living in NYC, so shooting in locations with tons of character was particularly important to us. 

Working with both Jessica & Andrea was an absolute dream! The shoot was all about us and they made sure we felt the same. They were extremely creative, professional, and comforting. It's not easy looking and feeling natural in front of a camera when all of the High Line is watching you while you shoot. Jared & I could not be more pleased with how these photos came out.
