I am usually a bit skeptical of store brand makeup lines, but after trying some products from Topshop Beauty - I may be changing my tune!
From left to right:
Topshop Nail Polish in Tickle Me, The Love Below & School of Thought // Topshop Doe Eyed Lashes Mascara // Topshop Lip Paint in Tallulah // Topshop Lip Varnish in Field Day // Topshop Lip Bullet in Crave & Joyride // Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polish // Topshop Powder Blush in Let Her Go - all products c/o.
For the most part, I really liked everything I tried. While I did not wear the nail polish long enough to see how quickly it may chip, I did like the colors and fast drying formula. Their Lip Paint & Lip Varnish were very pigmented and long lasting. The Lip Paint reminds me of Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Always Red, minus the "stain." I like it a lot! Unfortunately, I was not as impressed with the blush and mascara. I don't find that the mascara really did much for my lashes. Same holds true with the blush, I just didn't think it was anything to write home about. Maybe the color just wasn't right for me. Who knows. Wahhh wahhh! Can't win them all, right?
Now, for my favorites of the bunch:
Topshop Lip Bullet: The Lip Bullet gives your lips that perfect dewy finish. While it's not the most moisturizing, I do find that it leaves my lips feeling perfectly nourished throughout its wear. It's lipstick tip is a twist up format, perfect for precise application. My two favorite colors - Crave & Joyride - are perfect for the summer months. Crave is a luscious nude with a lovely pink undertone (top swatch) & Joyride (bottom swatch) is an extremely pigmented red. I find that both really suit almost any skin tone. Both perfect colors for day & night wear. I would recommend applying a lip moisturizer before application.
Topshop Glow Highlighter: This cream highlighter is the bomb.com! It highlights and boosts radiance without overdosing your skin in sparkle. The formula is extremely smooth and easy to apply with your fingertips alone. I typically apply it on my cheekbones, nose, eyebrows & cupid's bow for a perfectly natural glow. One application and you are good all day long. I give it two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
Have you used any of Topshop Beauty products? If so, what products? Do you have any favorites? Would love to hear!
