It's A Celebration!

I cannot believe our little man is one month old already! Seriously, where has the time gone? I will be honest and say that this month has not been the easiest. Some people make motherhood seem completely effortless and glamorous through their blogs, Instagrams, etc. Well, I hate to break it to you, but it's not always rainbows and butterflies. This month has been filled with some major challenges, a shit ton of emotions & an overwhelming amount of love! A lot of people celebrate their little one's monthly milestones with age blocks, age stickers, chalk boards and the like. But not this little guy. I decided to celebrate his first month a little bit differently... I invited all of his elephant friends over and threw him (and myself) a raging one month birthday party! We both really needed a good party after the month we had. Robert passed out cold from all of the fun. 

I am thinking this little party is going to be a monthly occurrence. What do you think?

I am still working on his nursery and hope to share photos of it at a later date. I have a feeling you can totally get the gist of the theme from this photo. It's basically straight out of the Pottery Barn Kids catalogue. We are in major need of some wall art. If you have any suggestions or know of any great online stores please do pass them along!
