An Open Letter From Me To You!

I owe you all a huge apology and an even bigger explanation. This past year has been a complete whirlwind & I may have bit off a bit more than I can chew. For the past 6+ years I was working in advertising, as a broadcast producer. And for about half of that time, I was simultaneously growing my blog. Well, this past August, everything I thought I knew completely changed. I went from working, for the most part, a 9 to 6 job with awesome benefits, the occasional lunch break and a decent amount of vacation time to a job where none of that exists. That's right, I became... (gasp) A MOM! On August 2nd, 2014, my husband Jared and I welcomed Robert Daniel Hutter into the world. If you follow my Instagram, you've been totally flooded with tons of #RDHutts photos. Yes, he has his own hashtag & no, I'm not sorry for flooding your Instagram feed. While I knew having a baby was going to be life changing, I didn't realize just how much my life would change. I had a plan - cue god laughing - I was going to return to advertising, continue my blog & be a mom to the coolest little dude ever. Fast forward to February 2015... I am no longer in advertising, my blog is basically none existent & I am a mom to the coolest little dude ever! Well, 1 out of 3 ain't bad, right?

Balancing has never been my strong point. For the past 6+ months, I've had a one track mind - being a mom. I had been so consumed with being the best mom I could be that I lost touch with so many things - including my blog, my friends & even myself. I am determined, now more than ever, to get my life back in order & learn to have a healthy balance of everything. Because a girl really can have it all! 

My last blog post was December 1, 2014 - how embarrassing - and before that they were few and far between. Lets just say my creative juices were far from flowing. It's almost March 2015 and it's time to get Caviar Taste Tuna Fish Wallet back up and running. A ton has changed since I first started my blog in 2011 & I want my future posts to reflect just that. Yes, I still plan to focus on fashion, beauty & lifestyle, but with that being said, I plan to get a bit more personal and incorporate more of what's going on in my life - like being a mom. I promise, being a mom can be glamorous too! So please bear with me as I get my shit together & work to give Caviar Taste Tuna Fish Wallet the love that it deserves.
